O luto por animais de estimação sob o olhar da gestalt–terapia

Resumo

RESUMO: Este artigo tem como objetivo a identificação e compreensão do processo de enfrentamento do luto por animais de estimação com base no filme MARLEY E EU (2008), de DAVID FRANKEL. Para responder a essa proposta, parte-se de uma investigação teórica que busca compreender como a relação de afeto do homem com os animais estão se desenvolvendo cada vez mais com a convivência com os mesmos e como esse vínculo resulta no enfrentamento do luto. Esta pesquisa bibliográfica baseia-se principalmente nos fundamentos da teoria do apego, de John Bowlby, e o olhar da Gestalt-terapia no enfrentamento do processo de luto pet.

ABSTRACT: This monograph aims to identify and understand the process of coping with grief for pets based on the film MARLEY AND ME (2008), by DAVID FRANKEL. In order to respond to this proposal, it starts with a theoretical investigation that seeks to understand how the relationship of affection between man and animals is increasingly being developed with the coexistence with them. and how this bond results in coping with grief. This bibliographic research is mainly based on the foundations of John Bowlby's attachment theory and the Gestalt’s view on coping with the pet grieving process.
