O tribunal do juri sob a influência da mídia

Resumo

O presente trabalho objetiva demonstrar uma perspectiva sobre o Jus Puniendi através do Tribunal do Júri, evidenciando a voz do povo em julgamento que em tese deva ser imparcial. Consoante com o Devido Processo Legal e a Presunção da Inocência, o júri deve-se manter isento de qualquer pré-julgamento, sendo este o desafiado evidenciando, uma vez que a mídia cumpre o papel de informar e também de formar opinião. Dessa forma, planeou-se a demonstração do papel do Tribunal do Júri e a sua decisão soberana em um solo de repercussão midiática.

ABSTRACT: The present work aims to demonstrate a perspective on Jus Puniendi through the Jury Court, showing the voice of the people in judgment that in theory should be impartial. Depending on the Due Process of Law and the Presumption of Innocence, the jury must remain exempt from any pre-judgment, this being the challenged evidencing, since the media fulfills the role of informing and also forming an opinion. In this way, it was planned to demonstrate the role of the Jury Court and its sovereign decision on a solo with media repercussions.
