Abandono parental de idoso e as consequências na vida psíquica e social

Resumo

A presente pesquisa visa dar ênfase ao abandono parental praticado contra o idoso e as consequências voltadas à saúde física e mental dos mesmos. É neste cenário que o psicólogo se torna essencial para atuar em conjunto com os diversos campos da saúde para obter êxito com a aplicação multiprofissional no tratamento ao idoso, onde é imperiosa esta integração para o sucesso do tratamento que se aplica: a saúde, integração familiar, lazer, ao tratamento e a reabilitação e também integração social do idoso. E, dentre todos estes aspectos, algo recorrente é a violência e o abandono contra o idoso. Para que haja um controle mais efetivo é imperativo identificar os indicadores sociais relacionados a esta violência e a este abandono, tal como o perfil destes idosos que são vítimas e onde estes se inserem socialmente em relação ao seu estado civil, etnia, poder aquisitivo e escolaridade. Hoje há muitos estudos preocupados em estudar o envelhecimento dentro do contexto fisiológico, mas pouco se fala sobre o estado psicológico em que se insere o idoso, que se encontra em uma fase onde sua fisiologia se apresenta mais frágil.

ABSTRACT: This study aims to emphasize parental abandonment practiced against the elderly and the consequences ai med at their physical and mental health. It is in this scenario that the psychologist becomes essential to work together with the various fields of health to be successful with the multidisciplinary application in the treatment of the elderly, where this integration is imperative for the success of the treatment that is applied: health, family integration, leisure, treatment and rehabilitation and also social integration of the elderly. And, among all these aspects, something recurrent is violence and abandonment against the elderly. In order to have a more effective control, it is imperative to identify the social indicators related to this violence and this abandonment, such as the profile of these elderly people who are victims and where they are socially inserted in relation to their marital status, ethnicity, purchasing power and education . Today, there are many studies concerned with studying aging within the physiological context, but little is said about the psychological state in which the elderly are inserted, who are in a phase where their physiology is more fragile.
