Abandono afetivo na infância

compreendendo crenças disfuncionais no processo de tornar-se adulto

Resumo

Estudos científicos afirmam que as crenças centrais são construídas no decorrer da infância, e se consolidam durante a vida adulta. O presente estudo aborda também qual é o papel da família nesta fase, e traz a discussão sobre a maneira como o abandono afetivo parental na infância corrobora para a manutenção das mesmas crenças na vida adulta, utilizando como embasamento teórico uma perspectiva da Terapia Cognitivo-Comportamental. Será apresentado um estudo de caso realizado com um indivíduo que sofreu abandono afetivo na infância e busca compreender seus sentimentos em relação aos pais, este estudo irá explicitar de que modo tais crenças disfuncionais, dificultaram o processo de tornar-se adulto, bem como intervir com o objetivo de que seja feita uma reestruturação cognitiva.

ABSTRACT: Scientific studies claim that core beliefs are built during childhood and are consolidated during adulthood. The present study also addresses the role of the family at this stage, and brings the discussion on how parental affective abandonment in childhood supports the maintenance of the same beliefs in adult life, using a perspective of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy as a theoretical basis. . A case study will be presented with an individual who suffered emotional abandonment in childhood and seeks to understand their feelings towards their parents. This study will explain how such dysfunctional beliefs hampered the process of becoming an adult, as well as intervening with the objective that a cognitive restructuring is carried out.
